Summary:
Didier Drogba and John Terry had an argument on the field after Chelsea's 3-3 draw against Aston Villa this Sunday. Chelsea's current form has been far below par and they find themselves on the fifth place, six points behind Man. Utd. who have a game over them. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti took away the pressure in the press conference by saying that this was no big deal and he pointed out that his side played an impressive second half despite the late equaliser. It's important for Chelsea that the atmosphere stays positive, because Mr. Ancelotti will feel the pressure if this run of form keeps on going.
Reaction:
Obviously Carlo Ancelotti is trying to give the fans a glimmer of hope with his press conference, but everything on the field shows something entirely different. If players start to argue there is not necessarily anything wrong, but seeing what run of form this team is currently in shows that players are looking for someone to blame. This time that was Drogba who blames Terry, but next week it could just as easily be someone else. Carlo Ancelotti has to see if he can remain the upper hand with this club, because after the transfer window the pressure will start to build up even further.
